Who is Shadowland?

Picture
Mark Emanatian is a Blues Hall of Famer and one of the best guitar players and songwriters on the east coast. His original songs and powerful voice makes up a large portion of Shadowland's sound. Mark is known for his time with the Ernie Williams Band and plays now with Soul Sky and Acoustic Sky with Tom Dolan.

Amy Collins has toured the US and Europe as a singer and musician. Having played with Tracy Chapman, Willie Nelson, Richard Shindell, and other national acts, her songs and humor has made her a favorite on the club and coffeehouse scene. Her voice has been called "stunning" and she can craft a story like nobody's business!  She often says that being the "Wendy" to this group of lost boys has been the most fun she's ever had.

Tom Dolan is a multi-talented instrumentalist who, on any given night, might be playing bass, mandolin, banjo, drums and the occasional tamborine. (he just LOVES the tamborine...)  Tom's light-fingered solos and tasteful playing is what makes Shadowland's shows so special. His dry sense of humor is what makes their rehearsals so tiring.

John Cromie adds powerful vocals and gorgeous whistle to the group.  A former member of SKUTTLEBUTT, and a veteran of the folk and Celtic scene, John is the "go to" whistle player for many Celtic bands.  John has toured Ireland performing the music for "Out of the Heavens in Showers," a play about the life of Micho Russel, the legendary Doolin whistle player.
